Hi – I am Jaymeila Webb. And I am so glad you made it to this part of the internet.  This means you're either looking for a kick-ass dietitian or you need someone to give you expert advice. Minus the bullshit. Good news - I can do both.

 

In a nutshell, I'm a sports dietitian first and an enthusiast strength and conditioning athlete second. I'm sassy, honest and have no time for diet culture. But most importantly, I'm bloody excited to be starting this journey with YOU. If you want the nitty gritty, see my "glowing" list of experience below. But let's make it short and sweet.

 

​I kick started my career working as a Private Sports Dietitian. It was here that Eat Nutrition branched out on its own and started specialising in eating disorders too. Of course, I didn't stop there. I also worked in the food industry for an infant formula company. 

 

I've been a high performance dietitian for the Tasmanian Institute of Sport for over 5 years as well as being continually involved with other health minded entities with policy building, frameworks and community engagement programs. 

 

When I'm not working in the world of nutrition, I moonlight as a CrossFit coach and try my best to train as an athlete myself. And I drink wine. Because life is too short to miss out on the finer things in life. 

MY APPROACH

My approach is to keep it simple.  Food and nutrition doesn’t need to be complicated – we just need to eat. Diet culture has convinced us that eating needs to be complex for it to be “healthy”. Eating well doesn’t need to be glamourous, Instagram-worthy or fancy. My motivation has always been about breaking down barriers, and making sense of expert nutrition advice.

Eat Nutrition is a company that wants to break up with you. It's not you - It's me. My goal is to give people the skills they need to manage their own eating ongoing. That’s the difference between a dietitian and other nutritionists and health coaches. We are experts that want to empower you with skills for life by sharing our evidence-based knowledge. It should be easy. It should feel like a normal way of eating. You don’t need strict rules. You don’t need someone making decisions for you (who charge a small fortune for every check in).

I am challenging the world of nutrition and diet culture by putting you back in charge - in charge of your choices. Your body. Your relationship with food.
